Die for thread cutting

by Dan
(Illinois)

I want to cut 0.75mm threads on an aluminum pipe that is 25.4mm in diameter.
I need to know what size die to buy. Too many choices for me, I need help.
Thanks
Dan

Thanks Otis,
It is a specialty thread. The aluminum pipe has to screw into an expensive optical device.
Thanks for the help.

That's a pretty fine thread for that size diameter. This is an apparently a custom thread. Any way to modify the mating part to use a standard thread?
