The hammer gun uses an air compressor as its power source

The hammer gun uses an air compressor as its power source, not an electric cable with a plug. However, just as the voltage for electric tools comes in different voltages, the rating for the hammer gun is measured by the pressure per square inch, so you need to know beforehand so as to adjust your pressure output from the compressor."

This tool is a time and work saver for the Die Repair machinist that welds tool steel. Pinging weld beads with this tool is a breeze compared to using a ball ping hammer. I have found that a tip with a small round tip ( around 1/4 radii) works best for pinging weld beads

I found a web site dedicated to this tool
